Not that this really affects us Canadians but here's an article about the decline of the US economy and enormous defecit. It's kinda nice to see that while the US economy is going to the dogs, up here in igloo country, we still have surplus and continue to support a universal health care system that in fact just received aproval for a $17billion dollar injection. It looks as though my predictions are becoming reality. Turkey is not going to sit by and watch the US liberate a huge Kurdish population which presently lives in IRAQ. They perceive this as a threat and will act (with invasion) accordingly. Obviously oil is the main issue. The US in the meantime wants Turkish cooperation and is willing to pay for it.
